Agricultural Services to promote self-reliance and have a beneficial impact on the lives of widows, single parents, drug addicts, commercial sex workers, and street children

This project seeks to promote self-reliance and have a beneficial impact on the lives of widows, single parents, drug addicts, commercial sex workers, and street children by combining rehabilitation, skill development, mentorship, and market access. The project will partner with the agricultural sector, fishery sector, marine sector, local farmers, and commercial agricultural companies to expand cultivation, establish adequate storage, preservation of facilities, and ensure value-added chains that will eliminate post-harvest wastages of especially perishable crops such as vegetables and fruits. Also, the project will utilize the use of modern technology and mechanized equipment in the cultivation of crops including rice (the country’s staple food), cassava, maize, millet, and ginger. The project will establish the rearing of livestock such as cattle, sheep, goat, pig, poultry farming, and processing with potential for high-valued exportable fish including snapper, grouper, catfish, barracuda, tuna, cuttlefish, squid, lobsters, herring, shrimp, cephalopods, demersal and pelagic species. We are confident that by giving them the chance to engage in agricultural pursuits like farming, raising animals, keeping chickens, and setting up fishponds etc we can enable them to develop independence and create a better future. The project will provide detailed plans and sustainability patterns to make sure our transformation plan is successful. Working together, we can have a long-lasting effect on the lives of these young people in need. The organization is committed to implementing these projects with the utmost dedication, transparency, accountability, and efficiency. By addressing these diverse issues, we aspire to create a positive impact, promote social equality, and contribute to the well-being of the community.
